Class Description:
This 12-week program is designed to enhance the current job performance, position for promotion, and accelerate the upward mobility of current IT Managers and IT Directors by expanding their understanding of the Business of IT.

Prerequisites:
None, but prior IT leadership experience is highly suggested

Class Logistics:

  • 12 weeks in length, with a new IT leadership based topic each week
  • Each week includes
    • 1-hour virtual, instructor-led group coaching sessions are on Mondays 12:00pm – 1:00pm US Eastern time (EST))
      • Discussion and Q&A on the week’s instructional video and topic in general
      • Q&A on previous topics, IT industry trends, key IT events, and other related topics
      • Group coaching on current IT challenges and career related topics
    • 45-minute on-demand instructional video and student guide on the weekly topic
    • Optional review quiz providing immediate feedback and instruction
    • Optional curated and supplemental reading

Cost:
The cost is $1,995 per student, which includes:

  • All items listed in above class logistics section
  • One-year access to our IT Leadership Growth Library
  • Monthly ITMLS Alumni Continuous Learning Newsletters
  • 24 PDUs (Professional Development Units) to be used toward ongoing educational requirements of other certifications (if applicable)

  3. Budgeting: Defining, estimating, prioritizing, and delivering your IT service catalog
  4. Leadership: Executive presence, business acumen, and managing up
  5. Management: Conflict resolution and difficult conversation strategies for IT teams
  6. Communication: Communicating technical concepts to non-technical executives
  7. Technology: Selecting and introducing new technologies to IT and the organization
  8. Technology: Data management’s role in analytics, AI, operations, and data security
  9. Teambuilding: The identification and growth of high potential future IT leaders

  11. Communication: Presentations and storytelling for IT and career success
