ITML Institute Scholarship Process and Application
Introduction
The ITML Institute is proud to offer a unique opportunity for aspiring current and future IT Managers to attend our ITMLP, ITMLE, or ITMLS class at no cost. This scholarship process is designed to identify and support individuals who exhibit the exceptional potential and passion for IT leadership. This document outlines the application process, eligibility criteria, and selection procedures for the scholarship.
Scholarships will be given during the November/December holiday season and at periodic times throughout the year.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the ITML Institute Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Currently be an IT professional (employed or in transition) who is a soon-to-be or current IT Manager or IT Director
- Have a strong professional interest in IT leadership
- Have evidence of prior IT work experience
- Be able and willing to attend all scheduled class training
- The class cannot or will not be funded by our employer
- Be willing to take the certification exam if their selected class was the ITMLP or ITMLE
Application Process
The application process for the ITML Institute scholarship consists of the following steps to ensure that the most deserving candidates are selected:
Step 1: Complete the Online Application

The questions you will be asked to complete are:
- Which of the three classes do you wish to attend (ITMLP, ITMLE, or ITMLS)?
- What is your previous IT experience?
- What is your current job title and responsibilities?
- How do you believe this class will help your current job performance and/or your future professional growth?
- If currently employed, how will the knowledge gained in this class be of value to your IT group and the organization it serves?
Step 2: Review and Evaluation
The ITML Institute’s scholarship committee will review all applications and select the scholarship recipient or recipients.
Step 3: Notification and Class Registration
A representative of the ITML Institute scholarship committee will contact the scholarship recipient(s) and assist them in registering for the public class that best fits their work scheduling needs.
