What is ITML Institute?
Founded in 2009, ITML Institute is the governing body for the ITMLP® and ITMLE® certifications, and three certificates in AI IT leadership (ITAIM), IT Leadership (ITMLS), and IT Interpersonal communication (ITITC).

What certifications and certificate programs does the ITML Institute offer?
ITML Institute offers two certifications:
- Information Technology Management and Leadership Professional (ITMLP®)
- Information Technology Management and Leadership Executive (ITMLE®)
The ITML Institute also offers three certificate programs:
- Certificate in IT AI Management (ITAIM)
- Certificate in IT Management and Leadership Studies (ITMLS)
- Certificate in IT Interpersonal and Team Communication (ITITC)

What’s the difference between the ITMLP and the ITMLE?
The ITMLP is designed for soon-to-be, new, and experienced IT managers and tech leads. The ITMLE is designed for more seasoned IT managers and IT Directors (managers of managers) preparing for executive-level responsibility and a seat at business strategy decisions.
